I
would use this book to introduce the genre of non-fiction. I would use this as a read aloud book. I would incorporate some activities about not
being able to see and the struggles that can create.
Writing and Speaking:
Students could do
research on Hurricane Katrina, friendship or blindness. Students could write a letter to the two
Bobbies. Students could talk about the
animal rights, human rights, etc.
Additional
uses:
This could also be integrated
into the Science weather unit.
